About Shannon LeMaster, M.D.

Shannon LeMaster M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been with Mindpath Health since 2016.

She received her B.S. in Biology from Stanford University in 2001. While there, she was a core member of the Stanford Papua New Guinea Medical Project. After working as a research assistant in the cardiac surgery department for an additional year, she attended Keck School of Medicine at USC, earning her MD in 2006. While there, in partnership with another student, she designed and implemented the Medical Spanish curriculum for medical students, which is still offered today.

Dr. LeMaster completed her psychiatric residency at Boston University Medical Center in 2010. During her residency, she pursued additional training in psychodynamic therapy at the Danielson Institute and in the treatment of PTSD at the Woman’s Stress Disorder Treatment Team at the VA of Boston. She became board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2012. Prior to working at Community Psychiatry, she was a staff psychiatrist at The Berkeley Therapy Institute.
