About Jonathon Porter, DO

Jon Porter, D.O. is a board eligible adult psychiatrist. He received his Bachelors of Psychobiology from UC Davis and completed his medical degree at Western University in Pomona. He has experience with psychiatric emergencies working in an acute inpatient hospital at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino County where he completed his residency as the Chief Resident. He has experience working in underserved areas in multiple settings including hospitals, prisons, mental health clinics, and crisis walk-in centers. Dr. Porter enjoys providing medication management that is tailored to meet the needs of patients from all walks of life. His goal is to create a therapeutic relationship by treating each patient with respect and compassion. He enjoys teaching residents and medical students and is currently a clinical assistant professor at Western University and Touro University in Vallejo. In his spare time, Dr. Porter enjoys being outdoors with his family.
