About Carolyn Clark, PMHNP

Ms. Carolyn Clark is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Clark received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington DC. After working at Children’s National Medical Center on the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit for several years, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She has worked in private outpatient psychiatric practice since this time and works with clients across the lifespan to include children, adolescents, and adults.

Ms. Clark helps patients struggling with varied psychiatric diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder to manage their symptoms through both medication and lifestyle interventions. Carolyn focuses on an integrative approach to treating psychiatric disorders, incorporating elements of mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise into her treatment recommendations.

With a personal belief in the importance of making every day count, Carolyn makes time for her passions of running, hiking, camping, and all manner of outdoor activities in Southern California, where she lives with her husband and two young sons.
