About Shararah Aziz, PMHNP

Dr. Shararah Aziz is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Dr. Aziz’s areas of focus include substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders. She has a holistic, patient-centered approach that involves active listening and therapeutic communication. Dr. Aziz’s treatment modalities may include motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, behavioral health management, and trauma-informed care. Her goal is to destigmatize mental health and encourage a better quality of life by offering hope and evidence-based treatment options.
