About Rasheede Hicks, LCMHC
Rasheede knows that everyone has a hidden gift. Her objective for her patients is to help them build their inner strength so that they may identify their gift and learn how to use it. She has seen how this knowledge is what allows a person to understand their purpose in this world. Because her own upbringing was very similar to those in need of community services, Ms. Hicks has always had the desire to help those who have fewer resources. With a background in criminal justice and the military, she likes to say that the mental health care profession chose her, explaining that when she worked with children and parents in the home and school settings, she had no idea that the work and time that she gave would make such a positive impact until she began receiving personal requests for her services. After that, she knew that working as a mindcare provider was her calling. Rasheede is passionate about learning the best treatment modalities, interventions, ideas, and motivations so that she can be more effective in her endeavor to help those seeking therapy. With tolerance and understanding, Ms. Hicks excels at discerning what her patients are seeking and then helping them get their needs met.
