About Rachael Danforth, LPCA
Rachel Danforth received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She is a licensed professional counselor associate and a national certified counselor (NCC). Rachel works with children age 5 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has a passion for helping people on a journey of self-discovery to achieve a peaceful and fulfilling life. Rachel is a supporter and an advocate for the LGBTGEQIAP+ community. She specializes in varying mental health concerns and focuses on helping individuals, couples, and families work on negative core beliefs that hold them back and problematic behaviors/reactions attached to those negative core beliefs. Rachel uses dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Family Systems to address problematic self-perceptions and behaviors in a safe, non-judgmental, and straight-forward environment.
