About Preeti Mathur, M.D.

Preeti Mathur, M.D. is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist. She has completed her residency at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, NY. She was appointed to the position of Chief Resident, during the final year of her residency.

Dr. Mathur has worked at the San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital for three years and has a rich experience in managing a wide range of complex psychiatric disorders. Her philosophy is to treat her patients in a comprehensive manner and integrate various issues like family dynamics, abuse, relationship problems, physical health, cultural, sexuality, and substance abuse issues. It is extremely rewarding for her to see her patient’s progress and reach their full potential. She is also fluent in Hindi and Urdu.

She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Her hobbies are singing, cooking, traveling, and being involved in community activities.
