About Pegah Pajouhi, M.D.

Pegah Pajouhi, M.D., is board certified in Psychiatry and a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, where she earned multiple academic, leadership, and research awards. She attended UC Davis for medical school and was honored with the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Award. Dr. Pajouhi trained and completed her residency at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. Throughout her education, she has volunteered at free community clinics and written several medical articles for publication. Prior to joining Mindpath Health, she worked at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose. Dr. Pajouhi provides medication management and takes a compassionate, evidence-based approach that accounts for the unique biological, psychological, and social factors that impact each individual patient’s mental health. She also believes that engaging in psychotherapy, building healthy coping skills, and making necessary lifestyle modifications are often an integral part of treatment success. Dr. Pajouhi enjoys supporting, collaborating with, and empowering her patients, towards improved self-efficacy and optimal mental health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family & friends, playing with her dog Vida, going to the gym, staying active outdoors, traveling, reading, and watching her favorite NBA teams.
