About Nick Kirk, LMFT
Nick was inspired to become a clinician while working with youth in college. He continues to value bringing out the best in his patients. Nick works with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. His areas of focus include anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-harm, addiction, and behavioral problems. Nick offers a goal-oriented, strengths-based, solution-focused approach to therapy. He works with numerous modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, focusing, and trauma-releasing therapy. Nick integrates mindfulness, somatic, and self-compassion tools, including breathwork, meditation, and yoga. He enjoys reading, playing the electric guitar, taking part in the local West African dance and drum community, and appreciates the natural beauty of the Bay Area.Education & Certifications
