About Maliha Desmukh, MD

Dr. Maliha Desmukh is board-certified and treats patients older than 18 with a special interest in women’s mental health. Dr. Desmukh’s approach to medication is minimalistic, using it only when necessary and striving for an effective dose that minimizes the risk of side effects. She also employs multiple therapeutic styles alongside psychopharmacology for optimal results. Dr. Desmukh wanted to become a psychiatrist in medical school after realizing optimal health is derived from a combination of physical and mental well-being. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
