About Lauro Amezcua-Patino, MD

Dr. Lauro Amezcua-Patino is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist with over 35 years of experience. Dr. Amezcua-Patino treats patients with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). He has experience in private practice and public settings and is former Arizona’s Psychiatric Security Review Board chairman. Dr. Amezcua-Patino completed his internship at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social in Mexico, a one-year externship in family medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and his psychiatric residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He is fluent in Spanish and is an associate professor at Midwestern University and A.T. Still University.
