About Lauren Isley, PA
Lauren Isley believes that it takes courage to open up to others about mental health and being trusted with a patient’s vulnerabilities is an extremely humbling experience. Lauren chose this field to not only provide patients with a safe, judgement-free space, but to raise awareness about mental health topics and health to end the stigma surrounding mental health – especially in under-served communities. Lauren is most passionate about ensuring that patients receive a well-rounded, individualized treatment plan that aligns with their goals. She wants her patients to feel heard and empowered; deciding on a treatment approach should be a team effort, with the patient feeling confident that they have a voice in their own health care decisions. Lauren served in the US Navy for 6 years before beginning her college education, which afforded her the opportunity to serve alongside people from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, both at home and while deployed. Now, as a provider and current military spouse, she found that her military background not only allows her to connect and empathize with fellow veterans, but with patients from all walks of life.

Ms. Isley was very thorough in her inquiry as to why I had come to MindPath. That lets me know she is more interested in the patient as a person.

I felt safe and heard. I would encourage anyone who feels afraid to take the first step to make an appointment at Mindpath.
