About Jhaurel Johnson White, PMHNP

Jhaurel Johnson White is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In 2012, she completed her undergraduate studies at Prairie View A&M University and The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She was also awarded a Doctorate of Nursing Practice by the University of South Alabama after successfully implementing the treatment-initiation and participation (TIP) program for adults diagnosed with treatment-resistant depression. In addition to an extensive background in caring for the adult, geriatric, and veteran populations in outpatient, acute and emergency care settings, she also has experience treating patients diagnosed with concurrent substance use and other psychiatric disorders.
