About Jeffrey Miller, LCSW
Mr. Miller has been a therapist and administrator for more than 40 years, practicing in Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, and Maryland. He began his career as a guidance counselor in the elementary school setting in Lancaster, PA, and as the director of education for the county prison system in Lebanon, PA. Throughout his career, he has served in the following positions: Director of Emergency Psychiatric Services in Berks County, PA; Supervisor of Child Protective Services in Montgomery County, PA, which included advanced training in family therapy from the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center; Director of Outpatient Addiction Services at the Girard Medical Center in Philadelphia, where he received advanced training in addictionology; Director of Children’s Counseling Needs at the Philadelphia Child Guidance and Resource Centers in Delaware County, PA, where he continued his advanced family therapy training; Administrator for Child Protective Services, and Liaison between Child Protective Services and the Prince Georges’ County School System in Maryland; Administrator and Team Leader for Autistic Behavioral Therapy at the Gertrude Barber Center in Erie, PA; and Therapist for Safe Harbor Behavioral Health in Erie, PA. While working as an administrator, Mr. Miller was a therapist in addiction counseling, as well a counselor for individuals, marriages, and families.
