About Jane Egbufoama, PMHNP

Dr. Jane Egbufoama is a dual Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner serving patients across the lifespan. She holds the following degrees: Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitionerfrom Walden University, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and Bachelors in Nursing from North Georgia State University. Dr. Jane is passionate about psychiatry and optimizing her patients’ mental health so that they can function at their best. Dr. Jane has over 30 years of varied experience in the nursing profession. Dr. Jane has a passion for helping others and knew nursing was her calling in life. Her practice style incorporates a holistic approach to enhance the quality of life for her patients. Past experience includes providing prescriptive support for children through geriatric population. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, her experience includes Step down ICU, Medical/surgical unit, Mother/baby, Labor/delivery and psychiatric unit. Dr. Jane enjoys most of her free time by spending quality time with family, reading, watching movies, traveling, cooking,and adjunct professor for FNP students. She passionately looks forward to serving her patients with mental health care needs.
