About Harpreet Kaur, M.D.

Harpreet Kaur, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who has subspecialty training and certification in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Kaur received her medical education at Government Medical College in Patiala, India and completed her residency at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. She completed both her fellowships at the University of Maryland Sheppard Pratt Health System.

She acquired a variety of experience during her child fellowship through her work with the ADHD/mood clinic, trauma clinic, neurodevelopmental unit at Sheppard Pratt, IOP at eating disorders clinic, child and infant studies, crisis walk-in clinic, inpatient units for children and adolescents, partial hospitalization programs, residential treatment program, telepsychiatry (direct and consultation service), and school mental health programs. Her training in addiction helps her to better serve patients with dual-diagnosis. Her philosophy is to individualize care in order to better serve patients while judiciously using resources. Dr. Kaur likes to travel, read, workout and spend time with family and friends during her free time.
