About Geraldine Dugan, PMHNP

Dr. Geraldine Dugan is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her doctoral degree from U.S. News and World Report’s #1 ranked PMHNP-DNP graduate school program, Rush University in Chicago. She practiced for 8 years as an ANCC certified psychiatric registered nurse III at a large academic medical center in Chicago, IL.

As a nurse practitioner, Dr. Dugan has predominantly treated adults with a wide range of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Dugan provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, personal history, and stressful or traumatic life experiences. You will find that Dr. Dugan strives to create an environment of collaboration, warmth, comfort, empathy, and trust in her practice.

In her spare time, Dr. Dugan enjoys healthy eating, yoga, strength training, hiking, walking her dog, traveling, and spending time with family/friends.
