About Dena Burns, MS, LPC, LCDCDena is a board-certified and licensed chemical dependency counselor and licensed professional counselor. She has over 15 years of experience working with adults with co-occurring substance use disorders. Dena's patient-centered approach uses cognitive behavioral therapy, eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing, and mindfulness. She wants her patients to feel supported and encouraged to change their lives. In addition, she enjoys watching suspenseful movies and spending time with her family.
