About Dedra Serafin, LPC
Dedra has over 30 years of experience providingboard-certified psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. She advocates and provides care using recovery principles and trauma-informed care. Dedra’s approach to therapy utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family systems therapy, dog-assisted therapy, play therapy, and the creative arts. She has experience in inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, residential, and alcohol stabilization units. Dedra also served as a sexual assault nurse examiner.
