About Danielle DiPaolo, PSYD

Dr. Danielle DiPaolo bought her first book on the human brain at age 10. Since then, she has had a special interest in human behavior. As a young adult, Dr. DiPaolo observed firsthand the distress experienced by those affected by unresolved mental health issues. She has also witnessed positive changes when an individual seeks help and feels heard, understood, and supported. Dr. DiPaolo’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, substance use, psychotic disorders, women’s issues, offender re-entry, and survivors of intimate partner violence. She brings an integrative, person-centered, and strengths-based approach that involves collaboration and trauma-informed strategies and interventions. Dr. DiPaolo also uses cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing techniques, and skill exercises to build assertiveness and boundaries. She loves music and grew up near Hollywood, CA, attending many concerts and local live music events.
