About Christie Spahr, LMFT
Christie Spahr, MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She did her graduate work at the University of Oregon. She is a lifetime athlete, predominantly focused on distance running. Her perspective is that running marathons are a metaphor for the strength of the human will to never give up which influences her collaboration with clients. Christie integrates ancient wisdom (Indigenous cultures) with conventional evidenced-based therapies such as ACT, CBT, & DBT. Her focus is on the patient’s needs and weaves in Narrative therapy, Rogerian, Logotherapy Existential & Solution-focused therapies.Education & Certifications
