About Charles Wasserman, Ph.D.

Charles Wasserman believes therapy is intimate and best guided in a safe space where the patient feels supported and protected. As a psychologist, Dr. Wasserman uses a psychodynamic perspective to evaluate the way that patients adhere themselves to the complexities and conflicts of life with a sense of grace, dignity, and courage. Dr. Wasserman is extremely relatable and uses personal experiences as metaphors to help patients better understand themselves and assist them in addressing and resolving conflict. He guides his patients to become increasingly reflective, self-aware, and open to help them understand that change happens from within, since others cannot be altered.
