About Carrie Moore, MSW, LCSW
Carrie is creative, dependable, and adaptable, and is dedicated to providing a supportive, safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment to allow for the processing needed for people to move forward in the most productive and effective way. Her therapeutic approach includes helping patients identify and highlight their strengths as a way to process trauma and life events, which also allows the opportunity to focus on future needs and outcomes. She primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of behavior and cognitive therapy aimed at assisting people in living a more rich and meaningful life by working toward the acceptance of that which is out of personal control and committing to actions that improve and enrich the quality of life that person wants to lead. Recognizing that each individual is an expert in their own life/experiences, she invites individuals to explore what has led them up to this point, and what direction they would like their life to go.
