About Anita Jothy, M.D.
Dr. Jothy has had an interest in the brain and behavior ever since beginning her psychology major in college. Medical school and a residency perpetuated her goal to help individuals struggling with difficulties in pursuing the lives they desire. Within her work, Dr. Jothy is most passionate about teamwork. She strives for her and her patients to explore a treatment plan and set goals together. Dr. Jothy’s main objective is to help patients gain insight into their concerns and achieve their desired emotional and mental health goals, in order to feel like an integral member of society. Dr. Jothy excels at listening to her patients and can empathize and sympathize to a degree in which patients feel at ease to share their concerns and facilitate treatment. A powerful quote by Maya Angelou that Dr. Jothy often refers to is “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”.
