About Angela Dorfman, PMHNP

Angela was guided into the mental health field while caring for her husband, a disabled United States Army veteran, and helping him through his chemical additions and accompanying behavioral issues. She learned, through nursing, that the only way to make alasting impact on people’s lives was to truly help with hands-on work. Angela is board-certified and specializes in adults and seniors. She has experience working in long-term inpatient psychiatric facilities with patients that are under court order for treatment and providing acute psychiatric care in hospitals and detention facilities. Angela is also fluent in Russian and Ukranian. She and her husband are from Kyiv, Ukraine, and have two teenage daughters, a pub, and a Siberian cat.
