How long do I need to wait to meet with a prescriber or therapist?

One of the benefits of Mindpath On Demand is access to quick, same-day, telehealth. Our goal is to connect you with a provider as soon as possible that day.

Do I have to be located in California or North Carolina to see a Mindpath On Demand provider?

Yes, you must be physically located in the state in which you are seeking treatment from a licensed provider

Can I use my insurance?

Yes, we accept most commercial insurance plans in an effort to make mental health care accessible and affordable for our patients.

How can Mindpath On Demand appointments help me?

Get quick access to a provider via telehealth for: 

  • Medication questions (side effects, etc.)
  • Medication prescriptions or refills inquiries
  • Talk therapy for increased anxiety or depression
  • Talk therapy for emotional and/or psychological disorders
Will I get a prescription at my Mindpath On Demand appointment?

While we do our best to meet the needs of each of our patients, we cannot guarantee that medication(s) will be prescribed during an on demand appointment.

Will the Mindpath On Demand provider work with me to develop a long-term care plan?

A Mindpath On Demand provider can work with you on a short term care plan to best support you with next steps in your mental health journey or until you are able to see your primary Mindpath Health provider for long-term mental health services. If you don’t already have a primary Mindpath Health provider, our specialists can help connect you with one while waiting for your appointment.

As a new patient, what documentation do I need to have ready?

Our specialists will guide you through the registration process to see a Mindpath On Demand provider as quickly as possible. To help them, please have the following ready:

  • Photo ID picture
  • Insurance card picture (front & back)
  • Form of payment (credit card, debit card, HSA, or FSA) – securely stored in a HIPAA compliant portal
As a current patient, what documentation do I need to have ready?

Our specialists will confirm your documentation is on file.

As a current patient, will I be meeting with my regular provider?

No, the Mindpath On Demand team of providers are available to offer support in between appointments with your regular provider or assist with more immediate needs.

What if I can’t book a Mindpath On Demand appointment or an appointment is unavailable?

Unfortunately, this can sometimes occur if all of our on demand providers are assisting other patients. Please email us to request the next available time.

What device(s) can I use to connect with a Mindpath On Demand provider?

You can access your telehealth appointment via smartphone, tablet, computer, or any other Wi-Fi-enabled device with a camera and microphone.

Do I have to be at home to connect for a Mindpath On Demand visit?

No, you can connect with a provider from the convenience of any Wi-Fi enabled device. For optimal experience, we do recommend connecting from a safe and private location. The location must be within California or North Carolina.
